Boise, Idaho 1 to Jamaal annual al-Din the Hoops 227 Summer Basketball Camp was a great success. With the support of the local business community to more media coverage, this could be a harbinger of things possible to enter the city of trees! More than 30 sponsors Support Area Jamaal al-Din's Hoops 227 that has created a program to be 5 countries represented in its issue 1 summer basketball camp held in Boise Owyhee Elementary School.
Coach Jamaal had children dancing on the track during the latter part of the day, that many youth camps basketball is unbelievable, especially in Idaho. Yes, as shown by the television coverage given by local ABC affiliate KIVI Channel 6 News this basketball coach and camp Jammal Al-Din, himself, was able to prevent young people from Boise fun and excited to play basketball Naismith, one of our countries national past time, for the duration of his two basketball days.
Countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Colombia and the United States was represented by children who attended Grade 1 Jamaal al-Din al Hoops 227 Summer Basketball Camp!
Coach Jamaal participants, ages 3 to 6 classes, is a surprising 80-85% of the free throw line, as Jamaal Al-Din claimed lessons taught to "smart ball Baden advertising system on ESPN and NFL Network and developed by former high school coach, Ed Palubinskas, former Olympic record holder, and former LSU great guardian of the free throws 4-time NBA World Champion Shaquille O'Neal, who now hosts a number of ABC health promotion of children!
During the summer of 2007, there are over 50 sports youth camps currently advertising for youth in Boise, Idaho, Jamaal al-Din's Hoops 227 received the recognition in the media coverage is the result of a generous nature that should be modeled by the AAU coaches in our nation and owners of business and leisure! ... Participants attended the camp for free as a result of such great community support! How can it not a group of talented students to participate in the refugee camp, which charges an entrance fee $ 75 - $ 225 as most do? It was a structured basketball camp to Ada County AAU and other immulate. Why, because children who are extremely athletic and talented, had the opportunity to participate in a gym that otherwise so could not attend. Self esteem generated by this event is immeasurable.
Coach Jamaal Al-Din, will not stop there. These same participants will be invited to camp in late August for a Free School Supply Contest, sponsored by companies in Boise the region! But in my view, this solves two problems. Number one, children from other cultures or they may have difficulty with English studies and language, leading to summer school, free school supplies will help this cause. The number and two refugee children, etc., to attend the first day of classes new books and pens, as students who finish later assisting our nation in Yale and Harvard. Hey, self-fulfilling prophecy is alive and real, and maybe these kids will end up doing the same ... are Ivy League graduates?
Coach Jamaal quickly opens the doors of Boise, Idaho, young people and expect others to be inspired, as evidenced by, get this, open daily from Boise (Idaho Statesman), and events of the Community section this week now lists an organization like "house its own 101 Hoops basketball program free at the end of July, hey coach, you did!
Finally, the community and media support was a real compliment to the people of Boise. Randy, the local ABC television affiliate KIVI Channel 6 News has done an outstanding job coverage. Get this, man, even went to talk to each participant in the camp, alone! These children had a lifetime. And the original schedule for an interview with Coach Jamaal has been changed from June 13, 2007 to 14 June 2007 that were not the best, as the previous JT ended Game 4 of the June NBA diffusion 14, 2007 Day of this special bulletin! Great work KIVI Channel 6, the first exposure to a great cause, thank you!
