How much credit you have to be approved by a loan from the federal government, directly?
If my parents wanted a federal direct loan and what are the chances of approval if the credit is not good, but not horrible either with a credit score between 630-640, and previous bankruptcies.
It depends on how long ago the bankruptcy occurred. with a result like this, I can not imagine that this happened recently. You should try to get a loan with your name, even if parents continue to provide information to themselves. They are usually pretty good in the approval people who are in financial need real money. The first step should / should have done was file the FAFSA. On this basis, it can be finding the financial support you are eligible, including the Federal Direct Stafford Loans.
